Long term care is ideal for people who need assistance due to a disability, illness, injury, or recovery. We provide both medical and personal care. Experts estimate that nearly 60% of people will need this kind of assistance during their lifetime.
We provide assistance with mobility, bathing, using the restroom, meal preparation, daily chores, medication administration, and much more.
Our skilled nursing facilities across Iowa specialize in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation therapy, the care and therapy of seniors, and restorative care. Our dually licensed to provide Skilled and Intermediate Nursing Care. We have eleven facilities in Iowa in Maquoketa, Marion, Fort Dodge, Humboldt, Winterset, Mitchellville, and Dysart.
Each of our facilities provides unique opportunities for our residents to enjoy their stay. Our company was founded in 1977 by Kenneth Webb under the name Quality Health Care Specialists, Corp. In 2011, Jerry and Nancy Voyna became the proud owners after 20+ years of service within the company home office. At that time Jerry and Nancy changed the name of the company to QHC Management, LLC and QHC Facilities, LLC, respectively. QHC Management oversees the operations of QHC Facilities and in total there are 10 facilities; eight skilled nursing homes and two assisted living facilities.
